Welcome to the Utility Billing Office

The Utility Billing Office provides customer service, bills and collects for water, wastewater and solid waste services, assists with service requests and provides information related to billing and services.

To set up utility service please contact City Hall at 936-597-3275.

 

Water Cutoffs are scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month.

 

Driver's license or state issued ID and Utility Application Form filled out entirely.
Lease agreement or deed (both residential and commercial) 

Residential Homeowner Deposit is $125.

Residential Leasing Deposit is $225.

Commercial account deposit is $250.

Deposits are refundable once account is closed.  The final utility bill is taken out of the deposit.
A non-refundable application fee of $30 is required with each application.

Garbage & Recycling:

Waste Management is the solid waste provider for the City. Please contact the Utility department to report missed garbage pickup. 

Weekly recycling and garbage collection is on Wednesdays.  Please have your trash can and recycling can out before 7 a.m. with the lid closed and 4 foot between each can.

The City of Montgomery provides Large/Heavy Trash Days for its residents the first weekend of each March, June, September, and December.  Large dumpsters will be provided at 777 Clepper Street to dispose of large unwanted items approved by Waste Management between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm. You must bring a utility bill or ID as proof of residency. 

***777 Clepper Street is across from Fernland Park and is the location of the former Montgomery Elementary School playground.
