City of Montgomery Elections:

The City of Montgomery General Elections are held on the first Saturday of May each year. Locations change each year depending on the County precincts consolidation.  The hours for Election Day are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

The next City General Election will be held on Saturday, May 4,  2024. 

City Council positions are staggered at-large places that are elected as follows:

• Even Years:  Mayor and City Council Places 2 and 4
• Odd Years:  City Council Places 1, 3 and 5

Filing dates for the 2024 General Election are from Wednesday, January 17, 2024 to Friday, February 16, 2024.

The City of Montgomery contracts with Montgomery County Elections for Election Services and the poll sites for Early Voting are set by Montgomery County Elections.  The City of Montgomery poll sites are as follows, unless the locations are consolidated by Montgomery County Elections:
