City Sets Tax Exemptions

The City Council approved the following tax exemptions for 2021:

Over 65: $50,000 exemption

Disability: $70,000 exemption

Homestead: 20% of assessed value exemption

This is the first year the City has adopted a homestead exemption and 20% is the maximum amount allowed by state law.  We appreciate the City Council working to keep taxes low for homeowners in the City!
